2009 Tourney Schedule and Results
There will be no draw. Teams will be seeded based on the regular season team standings. This is a double-elimination tourney.
Explanation of seedings: Ties are broken based on head to head match ups. For the top four teams tied at first, the tie is broken based on the record of them playing each other. Williamsburg beat Union Chapel and Hagerstown 1 losing only to Word of Hope out of the top 4. That puts them first. Hagerstown 1 beat Union Chapel and Word of Hope, but lost to Williamsburg, putting them in second. Union Chapel beat Word of Hope, but lost to Williamsburg and H1 putting them in 3rd. Word of Hope beat Williamsburg, but lost to Union Chapel and H1 putting them in 4th. Other ties were also broken on head to head match ups.

For the double-elimination tourney, for the first five rounds of games, the run rule will be 10 runs after 4 or more innings or one hour
time limit, whichever comes first. No new innings after one hour of game play, unless the score is tied.
For the sixth round game, the run rule will be 10 runs after 4 or more innings or 75 minute time limit, whichever comes first. No new innings after 75 minutes of game play, unless the score is tied.
For the final game(s), the run rule will be 15 runs after 4 or more innings with no time limit.
